The Projectile Lab observes a ball being thrown by a person. In this Lab three points are a major part in the lab: when the person is being thrown, at the highest point in the air and at the lowest point before the ball reaches the ground.

Was air resistance noticeable?
I think air resistance was noticeable. The velocity and air resistance can both be compared in this equation. As you can see in the graph, the velocity was not constant and as the ball moved throughout the air after being thrown the graph increases meaning so did the velocity. The only way for the air resistance not to be noticeable was if the velocity was constant throughout the ball's movement. I f this were to happen then the graph would show a straight horizontal line with no increase or decrease. Being that this graph continuously goes up, so does the velocity which allows us to conclude that air resistance was therefore noticeable.

Was energy conserved?
Energy was conserved because energy can not be created nor destroyed although, it can converted into different for. If we take a look at a potential energy and kinetic energy graph we can see that the energy was not constant. Because of this we can say that the energy was conserved because there was no consistency in the graphs. Now, if the energy was not conserved and didn't change forms we would have a completely straight horizontal line with no increase or decrease; obviously that is not the case and we know that energy was conserved. Just like energy momentum can not be created nor destroyed. We can also look at velocity to see if the momentum converted forms. By looking at the velocity we can also look at the graph. since the velocity is not constant, the momentum have converted. If the momentum didn't change, then the graph would be a straight horizontal line on the graph.

Just like energy momentum can not be created nor destroyed. We can also look at velocity to see if the momentum must to see if the momentum converted forms. By looking at the same graph as above we can come to a conclusion. Since the velocity is not constant , the momentum must have been converted. If the momentum didn,t change then the graph would be a straight horizontal line. Although looking at the graph produced by tracker, we know that momentum did change
